How to Battle Negativity

I am struggling negativity today. I started my morning off with a phone call that was irritating. One thing I have learned over the past year is that I control my emotions. How I react is something I am in complete control of. (Yay for control freaks!) My friend Natalie Chang told me last week that we just have to say “I’ve forgiven that” and let it be. The mind will eventually forgive. We can’t let others actions control us. Crumple it up and toss it away. Cut out the negativity. (Which is so hard for me because I consider myself a realist, not super positive person, so I have to control it before it spirals into negative space.) In the end, we lose for letting life get the better of us. We are worth more than that, right? Sometimes it takes a conscious effort to enjoy the journey. We have a choice to let our minds choose positive. The mind is powerful. Embrace the positive.
