April Updates

So, the last few weeks have been crazy. Everything is ramping up in preparation for the National Stationery Show. My office is a wreck – I am still putting the finishing touches on my collection, and trying to get some pictures made of my collection for a marketing mailer that will go out next week to all the retailers coming to the show.  I try really hard not to work on Sundays. For me, it is a day of rest, time with family, time to catch up with all the things I need to do around the house or personally, and time to recharge. Pink champagne and Sweet Cece’s kept me up last night until midnight, while I finished putting some final things together on a wedding invitation suite and my marketing flyer. Today, I’m up early with a large coffee and Robert Randolph jamming in the background. This week is a short week because we are heading to Key West on Wednesday for vacation (holla!). So excited for this time of relaxation. We (hubs and I) keep looking at each other like, “when can we be there?” It will be much needed. But, I’ll come back (hopefully) recharged to finish out the month.

I am so behind on posting pictures of my spring bride’s wedding paper collections. I want to share them with you badly, but it takes so much time to snap photos and edit to get them online. I hope I can do that soon because they are beautiful and these girls are beautiful (both inside and out).

We have weddings booked through the summer, but have limited the number of clients we have taken on for custom work because of National Stationery Show, so if you are getting married around the end of August, early September, we can refer you to someone else who will do a fabulous job!

Wedding 101

If you have been to Wedding 101 lately and have missed my portfolio’s, they’re back! And updated with fresh designs, all new from this past Spring. This weekend would be a beautiful weekend to let them help you plan your wedding.

Collection Feature

Henley is already an Etsy favorite!

Hadley is already an Etsy favorite!

I’ve been wanting to feature a Collection suite every month. This month, I want to feature the Hadley. It is out of our Rustic Collection. Sweet Stephanie inspired this design with her pole barn wedding. She  was a custom client last fall, and I loved this design so much that I wanted to make it a part of our wholesale album. This is definitely the most popular design on Etsy.

—————- { The Henley Collection } —————-

Henley has chosen a soft, vintage-style wedding gown that she’ll wear with her cowboy boots underneath. She is a casual bride using lavender and mason jars in her wedding decor. She’s getting married in a barn or outdoor venue. The neutral colors of black and kraft brown or chocolate brown and white have a natural style, with vintage letterpress fonts, which add just the touch she is looking for in her wedding invitations.

I’ve started a Pinterest board for inspiration for Rustic weddings and styles that I think pair well with this wedding invitation design.

I hope you all have a fabulous week! xoxo, Jennifer
