Starting your wedding invitations can be a daunting task. I’ve had many former brides tell me they wished they wouldn’t have tried to do it themselves, without the help of a wedding planner or wedding invitation designer to help you make important decisions that will be the first thing your guests see.
There are a few things that you should know before you start your wedding invitations: knowing the number of invitations you plan on sending, what your paper budget is and who is paying for the wedding. But, you will also need to have a schedule for when all of these pieces will be dropped in the mail, but also when to start working on them. In this blog post series, I’ll provide you with some checklists to get you started down the right path with your wedding invitations and paper goods.
I’ve put together a worksheet to help you figure out your budget and the timing of when to send your save the dates and wedding invitations. Print it out and fill it in. If you have any questions at all, feel free to contact me or just comment on this post. I am here to help!
