Tuesday Tips: How to Address Your Wedding Invitations

Now that I am back to my regularly scheduled programing (things have been a bit crazy lately), let’s start Tuesday Tips back up each week! I have a yearly Editorial Calendar mapped out too – complete with Expert Advice, Real Wedding Invitations and a lot of more exciting (and less random) blog posts.

For formal wedding invitations, abbreviations should not be used for Street, Drive, Avenue, Apartment or for cities and states. Spell everything out completely.

The only abbreviations that should be used are Mr., Mrs. and Dr., but only if “Doctor” will not fit on a single line with the name.

Something Detailed publishes Tuesday Tips every Tuesday on our blog and Facebook page. Like us to see it on your news feed!
